Lori Eby
Therapy for Individuals, Couples, and Relational Wellness
I truly love the work I do with individuals and couples. To me, therapy should feel like a deep breath. A space that is safe, comfortable, and even a little lighthearted when it needs to be. In the middle of life’s busyness and overwhelm, I want our sessions to be a place where you can find a genuine sense of calm.
I believe healing happens through a unique blend of connection, specialized knowledge, and practical skill. Life is full of challenges, and because I genuinely care about your journey, my goal is to provide a professional yet deeply personalized experience. Together, we will navigate painful feelings, relationship hurdles, and the behaviors that keep you feeling stuck.
My approach focuses on building emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and interpersonal skills. By identifying the parts of yourself that need the most attention and care, we work toward a more holistic, balanced way of living. I pull from several therapeutic modalities, tailoring our work to fit your specific goals and needs.
On a personal note: I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Chicago and stay dedicated to ongoing training to bring the best tools to my clients. When I’m not in the office, I’m usually making memories with my husband, our three sons, and our friends. I find my own calm in the outdoors, long walks, a good book, and the company of my dogs.
If you are feeling confused, alone, or dissatisfied in your relationships, I encourage you to give therapy a chance. I work with adults of all ages navigating mood struggles, stress, self-esteem, perfectionism, and major life transitions. You don’t have to carry it all by yourself.
